How long will my Petticoat take to arrive?

All of our Petticoats are hand created at our premises in Liverpool City Centre, and we do not mass produce or hold stock.
Depending on when you place your order, the amount of outstanding work that we already have, whether or not we have just ordered fabrics or trims in your colours will all have a contributing factor to make up and delivery times, we ask that you patiently for your amazing bespoke Petticoat, this is usually about 4 weeks, but in busy Wedding season times this can be a little longer, but we will keep you informed if there is any delay, if your order needs to be rushed, please let us know and we will do our utmost to quicken the process.

How long will my dress take to arrive?

As we only hold sample stock, all of our clients dresses are made to order, and customised to each client’s measurements, our dresses are exclusively designed by us, using old Hollywood fashions as an inspiration, we also take into consideration the needs of a modern woman. Most of our designs are interchangeable by the use of different sashes and petticoats giving a truly unique individual look, and experience to the wearer.
With all of this in mind, our dresses usually take approximately 12-14 weeks from ordering to delivery, sometimes a little quicker, sometimes a little longer, depending on whether there were changes made to the original design.
There is also an option to process your order quicker for a fee of £50.00 this will reduce your ordering time to approximately 7 weeks.

Can I mix up the colours of my Petticoat and edging, and are your dresses available in other colours?

All of our petticoats are hand created by us, so there really are no limits to the combination of colours and edges that can be used. The only difficulty will be choosing the colours for you!

We have tried to display as many of the colour choices available in our dresses, they are available in many colours, but obviously you may have to use your own imagination if we cannot show the colour of your desired dress already made up, as it is a bespoke service that we offer, a colour chart can be viewed here.

Are your Dresses and Petticoats available in other lengths?

Yes very much so! Upon ordering a dress, you will be sent a measurement form that can be printed out and taken to your local alteration shop, for a small fee any local seamstress will take these measurements for you, alternatively you can follow the instructions given, and have a friend measure you.
The measurement that we need for a petticoat length, is the length from your ‘natural waist’ to the hem of your dress, or if you would like a bit peeking out at the bottom, an inch longer.

Can I have adaptations to the dress design that you have to offer?

If there are elements of our design that you would like to change, for example you may really like the design of one of our dresses, but it may have sleeves, you may not wish to have sleeves, or vice versa, changes like this are often possible, please enquire and discuss before completing your order.

Can I send you an image of a dress that I like, and will you be able to get one made in a similar style?

We do not directly copy designs from other designers, however, with some changes we will be able to create something in a similar style, but very much with our own impression on the design.

Can I make an appointment or pop in and visit you?

We are more than happy for you to come and visit our studio, however an appointment is always advisable, as we are not always there at normal business hours, on occasion we maybe at a photo shoot, or otherwise busy, we do not rely on local foot traffic for our trade.

Can I discuss my choices and options with someone?

Can I pay a deposit or in instalments?

Yes of course, once you have reached your decision, an invoice will be sent to you via email requesting the total amount, when 50% of your total order has been paid, making up will commence, upon your order being completed and receipt of the total amount your item will then be shipped.

Do you offer refunds?

As all or our items are custom made to order, we do not offer a refund policy. It is advisable to discuss any issues that you may have with ourselves, before ordering. Our dresses and petticoats are of the highest quality and craftsmanship, and with good communication there is usually very little margin for error.

If we sell any of our Sample Sale items, they are ‘Sold as Seen’ we will endevour to describe the item as accurately as possible.
